GAIA sessionThe aim of this Gaia half-day workshop is to review the current state of research and characterization of exoplanets, with a particular focus on the contribution of Gaia—either on its own or in combination with other detection methods—and to anticipate the release of the DR4 data by 2027. One of the workshop’s working objectives will be to initiate discussions, and possibly the implementation, of follow-up programs for Gaia exoplanet candidates. We also wish to open this workshop to related but important topics connected to Gaia data and exoplanets, including, but not limited to: stellar parameters and masses, Gaia data reduction, astrometric characterization of binary stars, ELT synergies, and more. We will favor broad participation and strongly encourage contributions from all attendees, aiming to maximize the number of oral presentations. The average duration of the talks will be adjusted depending on the number of speakers. Chair: Flavien Kiefer |
